Michelle Hou, MS
Michelle Hou brings statistical analysis, data management, and result presentation skills to research projects at the Michigan Value Collaborative. Her prior research experience involves various dataset, including Medicare, MarketScan, Health and Retirement Study (HRS), Aging, Demographics, and Memory Study (ADAMS), and Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP). Michelle also brings extensive experience in managing analysis dataset and statistical modeling using SAS, STATA and VBA programming. Michelle graduated from Michigan State University with a master’s degree in statistics. Her prior work experience includes a full time internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City working on Human Resource data management and analysis, Research Lab Specialist with the Department of Internal Medicine and Statistician with the Department of Surgery at the UMHS.
